What Is The Meaning Of The Pelvic Ultrasound Result?
Hello, I just had a pelvic ultra sound and results state the endometrium measures 16.1 mm thickness tranabdominally. The richt side endometrial echo measures 6mm in thickness and the left measures 18mm in thickness at the fundus. I am 44 and this was done 7 days from start of last mentral cycle. What does this mean?
According to the reports your combined endometrial thickness through abdominal route is 16.1 mm which is increased. At the fundus region of uterus,in right side endometrail thickness is 6 mm whereas in left side it is 18 mm which is also increased. You should consult your gynecologist. You may need biopsy of endometrium. Further treatment depends upon clinical findings and investigation reports. Get well soon.
