What Is The Little White Spot On The Inner Eyelid Of Mine Causing Itchy Eye?

Hello! I have a very itchy eye, which I have been trying not touch, however on closer inspection there is a little white spot on the inner eyelid and this is what seems to be causing my eye to itch. I'm living and working in Mumbai at the moment and am always very careful to make sure I use antibacterial hand wash regularly throughout the day, but I am guessing I might have picked something up. Do you think it will sort itself out or is a trip to the local Dr required on Monnday morning?

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having a white spot on the inner eyelid. This indicates inflammation of the glands of the eye lid margin, since symptoms like pain are not there, it can be non infective lesions like chalazion, meibomian cyst...
The treatment is by use of antibiotic eye drops.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination for confirmation of diagnosis and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
