When you have someone with Stage 4 secondary liver cancer who has just been told they only have a couple of weeks how long does it take? when do we know that the time is near. We were told tuesday last after she left the consultants. but since then I have noticed changes which makes me think she has only a few days. Her left eye became droopy about 2 weeks ago but in last 3 days is now permanently shut her vision is blurred in other eye, she has problems with balance and co-ordination, sweeling of her abdomen, legs and feet. shes in constant pain and is sleeping alot not wanting to get up from bed but does when assisted and coaxed. She has absolutely no appetite and hardly drinks any fluids at all. In your opinion would you say its more likely to be 3-4 days or perhaps a bit longer? I am desperately trying to prepare for the end and I know you can't say exactly say when it will be but from your past experience of somewhat similar cases i would appreciate your answer.
