What Is The Life Expectancy Of A Person With 15% Heart Function?
my father has been diagnosed with congestive heart failure. His heart is functioning at 15% therefore his lungs and kidneys are greatly affected. He has been in the hospital for 2 weeks. His legs and stomach was very swollen. He is eating but very little. and having liquids. not sleeps a lot. He is in oxygen now. his doctors says that his condition is better than when the time he admit to the hospital. because legs and stomach is getting back to normal . My question how long can person live with a 15% heart functioning. is there any treatment to increase the heart function

Well looking into your problem I would like to tell you that exact duration cannot be predicted but still the prognosis is poor . Diuretics will be helpful .
