What Is The Life Expectancy In A Person Suffering With COPD?
hi for a 53 year old man who has cold he just found out last week he has cold all along even doctors up here think it was asthma because they are so close together and he is over weight he sleeps lots gets tired very easy he coughs lots what is the best thing for him to do and roughly what is the life span for a 53 year old man not cold sorry copd COPD hello

If this is cough symptom so it need to be investigated in detail for possible causes however this could be allergic condition but ideally it need to be differentiated with other etiologies, till then cough can be managed with cough suppressant and best drug would be "Guaifenesin" when it is just cough and no terminal stage then it is out of question to ask for life span, even if this is COPD then also this is not life threatening, hope this information helps, take care.
