I recently had blood work so I could have the bariatric sleeve surgery.my blood work showed I was over medicated by my family physician medication was lowered from 250 mg to 200 I can t help but wonder over the needed amount of medication how that has affected me

Hello,

In order to know how the medication may have affected you, I would need to know what the medication was that was lowered from 250 to 200mg.

However, in general, once a medication dose is adjusted, the effects should resolve as soon as the body clears the excess medication and reaches the new level according to the dose, so in general, I wouldn't worry about any permanent affects from medications.
