Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Dear sir,
TFCC repair is a complicated procedure which is taken up only by hand surgeons. The recovery depends on the grade of injury and the surgery done. The primary surgeon will be the best guy to tell you about the recovery period. In general a repaired TFCC might give little niggles till 6-8 weeks by which most of the lesions heal well provided they were treated appropriately. But as far as the return to work is concerned you will have to undergo a systematic muscle strengthening exercises before you can take up vigorous activities. Hope this answer helped you.
