Hi,
You can use it but you did not mentioned your skin problem.
Melacare is commonly prescribed for the short-term, intermittent treatment of moderate-to-
severe melasma (dark, discolored patches) of the face. It helps in quick skin renewal and provides relief from
redness, swelling and itching. Its common side effects include burning, irritation, and itching at the site of its application.
However since it contains a potent
steroid it may also cause thinning of the skin, formation of pimples, prominent blood vessels beneath the skin and abnormal facial hair growth. If you stop taking it may cause redness, burning, itching, hot skin, swelling, and skin sensitivity usually within 1-2 weeks of stopping the steroid.
Consult a dermatologist for proper diagnosis and treatment for your skin problem.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
