If Luprolide did relieve your scar pain, and discontinuing it has caused the pain to recur, there can be little doubt that you have scar endometriosis indeed. It has happened because your previous surgery required the uterus to be opened up, and part of the endometrial tissue has spilled over onto the operation site (now scar). Try to take at least 6 monthly injections of appropriate dose. The next option is surgical removal of the endometriotic scar and if your age permits, then the ovaries as well. The extent of treatment really depends on how much pain you get, and whether you can tolerate it with help of cheaper hormonal tablets. If the pain is intolerable or crippling, then you may need surgery. If you are closer to 45 and nearing menopause, then you may wait and watch for a few more months along with medications. Pl see your gynaecologist about all these options.
