What Is The Expected Fetus Weight During 32 Week Of Pregnancy?

Hi I have competed 32week of pregnancy my baby weight is around 1800grams is it normal or I need to worry.doctor has prescribed me protein powder and art 9 sachet mt rod is 23aug 2015 with in a short period of time my baby can gain enough weight or not please guide me

This is a little lower than usual weight of babies at this gestational age. But not that bad that may cause medical concerns.

We describe low birth weight babies as being less than 2500 grams when they are born. You still have time and your OB/GYN physician did the right thing. You should take the protein supplements and I hope that baby will gain a bit..

Every single ounce the baby gains is best for both you and the baby. Ask the doctor, also to take care of the lungs maturation of the baby. Steroid injection a week before delivery is usually given to take care of lungs maturation of foetus so as to avoid Respiratory Distress Syndrome (RDS).
