What Is The Effects Of Laxopeg On Infant ?

Hi, I had given laxopeg to my one year old daughter and now she is suffering from diarrhea , fever , and vomiting for which doctor told to discontinue the laxopeg. I want to know how long this effect of laxopeg would continue and as for fever is there any home remedy and doctor told me to avoid milk so what should be her current diet as I am very much worried about my daughter

Laxopeg peak of action is 2-4 days. That means it will be in the system for minimum 5 days.

Regarding fever, check the temperature, if more than 101 degree F. give a dose of Tylenol/Paracetamol and then check the temperature. Tepid sponging- gently wipe the body with cold water also helps decrease fever. Temperature of 101 and 102 can be managed at home for 24 hours. But if recurs and not managed with paracetamol, needs to be evaluated by Pediatrician.
