Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Ganaton contains Itopride HCL. Itopride is not currently approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for use in the United States, nor is it yet approved in the United Kingdom.

Recommended dose for adults: 50 mg daily (150 mg tab taken orally 3 times a day before meals).
Duration of treatment: In clinical studies, Itopride has been administered up to 8 weeks.

So, if now you consume 1 x a day you can add up to 1 tab 2 times a day because you are underweight and you cannot take the maximal dose of adult. So, depending on the condition of your illness if you are not too bloated can you return again to 1 tab a day? Which need to be noticed to arise side effects, which can disturb you.

The most common side effects of Itopride include mild to moderate abdominal pain and diarrhea. Some other side effects that may occur include: rash, giddiness, exhaustion, back or chest pain, increased salivation, constipation, headache, sleeping disorders, dizziness, galactorrhea, and gynecomastia. Other side effects may also be present like leukopenia.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Lili Sitanggang
