What Is The Dosage Of Lasix?

I had a shoulder cuff repair 4 weeks ago. I am 73 with CHF & COPD I weigh 268 normally. I have been holding water. My legs are swollen, causing me pain, unstable , & weak. my weight this morning ie 280lbs I take 2, 20mg lasix (furosemide) twice a day normally = 40 mg. yesterday I took 60 mg I do not notice any difference this morning. question, how often can I take lasix to take off the fluid. thank you. Hello,

Taking Lasix daily is the normal dose. Do not increase the dose without consulting your physician as it can cause an electrolyte imbalance.
