What Is The Dosage Of DayQuil?

Hi, I took 2 Dayquil in the form of liquid capsules at 11:30am and about to take 2 liquid capsule Nyquils at 8:00pm. Will it be safe for me to take 2 more Dayquil capsules at 9:00am tomorrow, when I wake up? I know there is a limit of 4 capsules in 24hrs but I wasn’t sure if that applies to both Dayquil and Nyquil or if it means 4 capsules of each.

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Usually, two doses per day are sufficient. If symptoms do not improve, you can use one tablet at an interval of six hours. Don't take both four doses per day, just take four doses of anyone medicine per day.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
