What Is The Dosage And Duration Between Tylenol For Fever In A 14 Month Old?

hi, my name is oksana, my 14 month old baby has a fever. I gave him medicine last time at 2 pm. but his temperature now 39.7. should I give him Tylenol again so I gave him Tylenol at 3am last night, then 8am and then 2pm last time. I think I can not give him anymore

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic..
The dose of paracetamol (Tylenol) is 15 mg/kg body weight can be given as frequently as every 4 hours depending on the requirement.
You can calculate the dose as per the weight of your child and give her.
The frequency is decided by the severity of fever.
You should not repeat the dose before 4 hours.
You may suppliment this with tepid sponging.
