Hi well come to HCM.
angina is precordial pain on lt side of chest due to inefficient blood supply to heart
on exertion, could be even at rest in variant angina, usually pain is for less than
30 minits. This you can consider as worst as heart attack and agresive steps at
this stage would prevent damage to your heart causing by heart attack. Heart attack
is total cut off of blood supply to part or parts of the heart, pain lasting longer, pain
may be more severe than angina. Could be fatal aswell. Cardiac arrest is either ventri
cular fibrillation or total stopage of heart. And cardiac asthma is decompensated heart
which can not full fill the oxygen demand of body leading to breath less ness. thanks

Angina is a smaller version of heart attack where the pain is felt on account of non supply of sufficient quantity of blood to a region/regions of the heart. It is a pain felt in the heart region which could be medically controlled and with proper life style and food can be easily managed. Heart attack is with severe pain when a complete region of a heart is totally cut off from blood supply. It requires medical intervention before becoming fatal. This may require surgical intervention like by-pass or insertion of medicated stent. Cardiac arrest is a fatal heart attack when people not treated with hypertension are met with an accident. The occurance is instantaneous and without a medical attendant nearby, it will be fatal. Cardiac asthma is a type of asthma but occuring on account of problems in the heart.
