What Is The Difference Between E Coli 40,000 Colony And 40,000 Neg Bacilli?

I had a kidney infection a few weeks ago. It was e coli 40,000 colony. I started to have the same symptoms again and they did another UA and it says 40,000 neg baccili but this doctor said it was normal so they did not treat it. What is the diffiference between the two types of infection.
