my 2mth old was recently hospitalised with a mild case of what I call infant flu bronchiolitis (official diagnosis) for 5days. he was treated with nebulised ventolin at the hospital. but since his discharge yesterday, one of his home therapy meds is ventolin in a syrup base, but the druggist gave us asthalin, saying they re of the same family. can you explain what s the difference between ventolin and asthalin?

Hi...Both are same. But the strength differs. But they are not indicated in this age of 2 months. if I were your pediatrician I would not have prescribed both.
