Urologist 's  Response
Hi
From the given information, it is likely that you are suffering from an urinary tract infection which is causing hematuria. However there are other causes of hematuria and hence you will need full evaluation.

I would advise you to keep drinking plenty of fluids to prevent blood from clotting in the bladder. Submit an urine sample for culture and start on an urinary antibiotics like nitrofurantoin or trimethoprim. Please obtain a prescription from your doctor/physician. The antibiotic might need to be changed once the culture reports are back.

Once hematuria settles please get an ultrasound of the urinary tract and you might also need a cystoscopy oif your urinary tract.

If there investigations are negative and since you are getting repeated infections you might need antibiotic prophylaxis before /just after intercourse.
