What Is The Cure For The Swelling And Painful Scrotum With Rear On The Foreskin?
I have a geriatric resident with a 1-11/2 i nch tramatic tear in his forskin, possibly infected. What is the proper tx.? He has a foley change mnthly. His scrotum and penis are very swollen and painful. He is not sexually active and does not masturbate. He wears adult diapers during the day for fecal incontinence. Please help

He should wash and clean the site with an antiseptic solutions or antibiotics ointment
Neosporin powder can be sprinkled upon the clean site
Prolonged catheterisation and diaper both can cause to infection or inflammation of the foreskin as well as whole of the genital and perianal region
