What Is The Cure For The Recurring Breathlessness?

i feel little problem in breathing before a month, doctor advised me gupisone 20 mg, 2+2+2+1+1+1+1. after taking this dose i felt very comfortable, since yesterday i am facing the same problem again, might be due to continuous sitting in air-conditioning / having some oily and cold drinks.

Can i take the same medicine again?

Pulmonologist 's  Response
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
No, you should not take this drug. It is steroid and oral steroids are harmful in breathlessness. They are indicated only in certain circumstances.
In my opinion, you should consult pulmonologist and get done
1. Clinical examination of respiratory system
2. PFT (Pulmonary Function Test).
Possibility of bronchitis is more in your case.
Steroids are given in bronchitis but in inhaled form, not in oral form.
So you should start inhaled bronchodilators and inhaled corticosteroid.
Better to first diagnose yourself and then start appropriate treatment.
Hope I have solved your query.
I will be happy to help you further.
Wish you good health.
Thanks.
