It all starts with a good clinical exam. Depending on the findings, further test may be asked or not. Please, get consulted by a gastroenterologist and hear what he/she has to say before being frightened by cost. Have you ever had any anal manipulation like sex or exams? Also, how many children do you have and how big were there at birth? Did you suffer any tears during child birth? Please, look up at kegel exercises and try practicing them to help strengthen your pelvic floor muscles.
