What Is The Cure For Hip Pain And Sharp Pain In Stomach?

Hi! I am having fair bit of pain surrounding my right hip. It rims my hip bone. It also goes down through my groin,up across the top of my hip and over my bottom ribs to my back. My hip makes a popping sound regularly. That pain feels very muscle based and is usually a dull aching or burning feel. I have now developed sharper more focussed pains in 2 places. The first is in my lower abdomen on the right, the second (which has been there longer) is in almost the center of my stomach between my belly button and diaphragm. I should mention that I am a competitive horse back rider. This hip pain has woken me up at night and can vary between a dull ache and a stabbing pain in the right movements. The hip pain has been going on in varying degrees for the last number of years but in the last 6 months has become prominent. The other more focussed pains have been going on for the last month or so. The pain in my lower abdomen seems to have a bit of a bump in it. It is not round, it is about and inch or 2 long and half that in width. I may be over analyzing it. Maybe its just swollen muscle fibers??? It runs along one of the perpetually sore muscles.

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The pain in the hip that you have described can be related to a ligament tear, muscle sprain or vitamin D3 deficiency. This needs a direct examination and MRI scan for diagnosis.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
