What Is The Criteria To Take TT Injection During Pregnancy ?

Hello Doctor! Im 28 yrs old and 5 months pregnant now. I had taken one TT injection at the start date of 4th month. Now im in 5 months, 8 days; going to take 2nd TT injection. Heard that these two TT injections should be taken in the exact gap of 30 days. If taking the 2nd TT injection greater than 30 days(of 1st TT injection), then it gives no use. Please clarify whether it is true message. Thanks in advance.

Hi Suyar, from the history you give I don't think it is a problem to postpone a 2nd dose by just a few days as you indicated. There is no reason to believe that it is of no use here given the slight delay. All should be well. Take care. Good Luck.
