for how long valparin chrono 300 should be consumed by a patient suffering from a seizure good evening sir.... i have been valparin chrono 300 from last 3and half yrs now i am completely seizure free from last 3and half yrs .plz tell me how long i have to take this medicine.

Hi

Epilepsy requires regular treatment with anticonvulsants for at least 3 years of seizure free period after which medicines may be tapered off unless seizures reappear. At present, there are no other effective treatment options.
