What Is The Correct Dosage Of Eltroxin 50mg To Control Thyroid In Infants ?
hi doc, my 2 month baby has thyroid problem .when he was 20 days old his TSH was 23.85 and Ft4 was 35.85 than doctor prescribed 50mcg eltroxin 1 tab par day. After 2 months now TSH is 0.12 and Ft4 is 27.81. but his weight is gained. now he is 6.600kg. his age is 2 months. How can i maintain the doses?

There may be a problem with the reports. Get it evaluated again. Also if the reports come out the same, his dosage needs to be changed. He may be having other congenital anomalies which cause obesity. Kindly discuss with the Paediatrician regarding this.
