What Is The Chronic Painless Lump On My Back?

Hi, I am a 20 year old male, 5'7, weighing 63kg. No medical history, relatively healthy, exercise 4 times a week. I've got a lump on my back (around level of T12/L1) from about 4 years ago when I raced gokarts. The seat was a bit big for me so i slid left to right in it. It would give me what seemed like a welt on my back but now has become what seems to be permanant (~3cm diameter). I havnt raced gokarts since, and it isnt decreasing in size/nor increasing. I was wondering what it could be??? It does not cause discomfort, but is to the left of my spine, superficial to erector spinae muscle.
Any help would be very much appreciated, can it be removed easily without scarring?
Thankyou

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You may have some soft tissue tumor like lipoma, neurofibroma or dermatofibroma.
You should go for fine needle aspiration cytology or biopsy of that lump.
It will give you exact diagnosis.
Then you should take treatment accordingly. Surgical excision is the treatment of choice.
Consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question.
If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me.
I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
