Hello I think my family has gotten food poisoning we've all been throwing up and having diarrhea since yesterday... and now I've got the cold sweats and my left arm gets all numb and tingly everytime I stand up as well as lightheadedness. can you tell me if this is typical of food poisoning or should I be worried?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if the symptoms are associate with dehydration, fatigue, vomiting, fever alter sensorium then it is the food poisoning and it is the serious condition and first priority would be correction of dehydration, and antibiotic and if these symptoms are not there then it may not be food poisoning, then condition could be self limiting still care need to be taken for dehydration hope this information helps.
