What Is The Cause Of Trouble Breathing Through Nostrils?

hi.. i want to help my dad who is veerrryyy stubborn.. i am looking for information to try to help him change his mind.. 1) he has trouble breathing from one of his nostrils..? what would that be a sign of.. it is all the time.. not just during different seasons? any suggestions? 2) he has a very delicate stomach now a days.. if he eats cheese at night his stomach would start burning.. or a lot of spicy food will make him feel bad too.. he wasnt like that.. i feel like it could be gastritis?
Forgot to mencion that he is hispanic and is 46 years old

Hello,
If your father has nose blocked all the time he need to get ENT consultation for examination of nose and if required a ct scan for nose and paranasal sinuses To see for the extent of disease.
If he has nasal disease then he might be having snoring also. And snoring increaes chances of reflux of food from stomach to food pipe .Get consultation and treatment .
