I hit my head yesterday and itcut open about half an inch to an inch bled a bit but I didn't go to the hospital. I felt sick and dizzy last night but no vomiting now today I feel really tired. Am I ok or...idk what I should be doing and don't want to go to the hospital for no reason.
Hi, I understand your concern and I'll try to help you. The trauma that you reported does not usually cause complications, but the persistent fatigue and dizziness are alarm signals and in these situations it is important to seek emergency room immediately.
The high energy cranial trauma can cause fractures in the skull bone, as intracranial bleeding subarachnoid hemorrhage, subdural hematoma and epidural hematoma, and brain injuries like cerebral concussion. In your case, the description is not compatible with high-energy trauma, but these signals may indicate a fracture of the skull bones or some intracranial bleeding.
So I suggest you look for the emergency room to better investigate and rule out any risk of complications.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help you. Wish you good health.
