What Is The Cause Of The Bleeding After 10 Days Of HSG?

I had HSG test done ten days back. On day 5 after the test, she started to have bleeding but few drops. Day 6, 7 after test, I started to see small pieces of mucuous or cheesy substance red in color in vaginal discharge.The urine was tested and doctor said no infection noticed. I am on antibiotics. But still see traces of blood (about few drops when I go to urine). No burning sensation. After 10 days of the test, still see traces of blood in urine or when I dab with the paper napkin. I am nearing my next cycle ( 3 days left). Not sure where and how it is coming. When I get strained during the day, the quantity of blood is more. Question (1) What is the cause of the bleeding after 10 days of HSG? Appreciate it if you could reply soon.

The mild bleeding can be seen after 1-2 days of HSG due to cervical dilatation done during the insertion of dye. The bleeding after 10 days is likely to be due to a mild hormonal imbalance.
