It's been over 10 days since I found small sores on my left wrist. Doctor said my toddler had poison ivy, put him on meds and I took steroids. The rash continues to spread. You might be suffering from irritant contact dermatitis. It is a type of necrotic reaction because of some irritant exposure and are frequently painful.
