I am having pain in the right side of my stomach more today than yesterday. No reason for the pain can be sitting walking, or just about doing anything. It is intermittent may not have any pain for one hour then every fifteen minutes or less. Lifting heavy objects doesn't really increase the pain.
From what you refer I can say that you suffer from acute gastritis(redness of the stomach mucous). Causes are different, but sometimes different diseases are shown up with stomach pain.
To determine the diagnosis you need: - Complete blood test. - Blood amylase or lipase test(for pancreatitis). - Liver function blood test. - Urine test. - Stool sample, to look for blood in the stool. - ECG(Electrocardiography) to disqualify myocard infarct. - Abdominal ultrasound. - Endoscopy, to check for stomach lining inflammation and mucous erosion.
You should contact a gastroenterologist.
I hope this is helpful.
