What Is The Cause Of Sore Throat, Headache, Stiffness In Neck, Earache, Nausea, Diarrhea?

Hi for the past 4 days (going into the 5th) i have had a sore throat, severe pain when swallowing, headache with stiffness at the back of my neck, ear ache, nausea, diarrhea and a temperature but also shivers could you help me by telling me what's wrong? Cant get in to see my doctor for another 3 days

It sounds as though you have an acute upper respiratory tract infection. Viral infection is more common than bacterial .

In cases, instead of the viruses that cause the common cold, a person may have the flu. In that case the symptoms are more severe.

You can consider doing the following: (1) rest
(2)drink enough fluids
(3)a oral spray or gargle would help with the throat pain example is chloroseptic
(4)paracetamol would help with the neck and ear pain, it would also help to reduce your temperture
(5)use cool liquids, dress cooling, tepid sponging- these would all help with the fever

Hi. This is an infection of course and you have to start antibiotics very soon to avoid further complications. You must see a Doctor ASAP.
