What Is The Cause Of Right Abdominal Pain?

I having been having pain, sometimes severe, in my upper right torso. Like on the rib right below my breast. Not sure if gallbladder. It seems to hurt on top, not inside my rib cage. It also feels swollen. Have a lot of past medical issues, breast cancer, 14 yrs ago and MS. Do you thin gall bladder or ?? Thanks

General Surgeon 's  Response
HI.
Local pain and tenderness go more in favor of costochondritis, and a rare chance of secondary.
Gall bladder does not cause such superficial pain.
A CT Scan of the whole area would confirm or rule out serious problem/s.
