What Is The Cause Of Lump Under Skin Of Earlobe?

I have a small lump that I have just recently noticed under my skin right above my stretched/gauged earlobe. It isn't noticeable to the eye, even when looking closely. I can just feel it between my fingers. It's not red, colored or anything of the sort. Just a little painful if I pinch it. I am curious as to what it is, if it's harmful to my ear, if it will get worse and what I can do to rid of it.

Hi,

Small lump in earlobe may be small cyst formed by sebaceous gland, only felt by palpating of the lobe from both side. It may remain without harm. Sometime it may be infected, if the area is squeezed frequently. If it is embarrassing, you consult dermatologist and get removed by small cut under local anaesthesia. Otherwise keep it untreated. I hope you got my answer.

Thanks.
