Treatment of delayed eruption depends on whether the delay is due to a systemic condition or if it is due to local factors.
Low birth weight or preterm babies have also been shown to show delayed eruption of teeth.
If you have any concerns about the growth and development of your child's teeth and jaws, call your dentist.

Thanks for asking the query,

Delayed erruption of teethin preterm baby can be due to,
Vitamin and calcium deficiencies,
under nutritions or malnutrition.
Hypothyroidism or Hypopituitarism that is low levels of T3 & T4 hormones and elevated levels of TSH so please get the blood examination done for this hormones.
Genetic predisposition may also lead to delayed erruption .

Complete clinical evaluation by a Pedodontist will help us in diagnosis and deciding the treatment plan.

Hope this helps out.

see your baby was delivered premature.a baby is expected at 40 weeks of pregnancy but your baby was delivered at 26 weeks so he missed 14 weeks of development in mothers womb.he completed that after taking we will substract this 14 weeks from his current age as these were taken by him to develop himself outside mothers womb which should have happened inside mothers his current age stands at 9 months.till 12 months we wait for teeths to your son still has three months for no need to worry yet.

Welcome to health care magic forum,

delayed mile stone is due to premature birth. wait for some time and if no dentition then consult to doctor. you can use homeopathic medicine for that. five-phos which is easily available in homeopathic store. and very useful in premature baby.
