What Is The Cause Of Increasing The Dosage For Thyroxine Post A Decrease In TSH Level ?

am having thyroid . my tsh level is 8.36 on november 16th. and i advised to take thyroxine 50mcg. now i tested my tsh level on 14th feb and it shows 0.97. but my endo doc advised me to take 100mcg. he gave met-500 and haemozinc capsule.

Hello

If TSH is normal you should not increase the dose , maintain it with 50 micrograms

Metformin is given for PCOD , are you having this problem or raised blood sugar ?
