What Is The Cause Of Fever After An Injury?

My mom fell of stairs and had head concussion she has nose fracture and blood c aught inn her sinus area she refused to be hospitalized and now we are 48 hours and she has fever is this alarmin? Should I go to hospital in addition to bad headache and dizziness

Fever occurs as a result of an inflammatory response, the most common being an infection though it can occur due to any severe trauma.

Since she is experiencing fever , dizziness and headache, it may be best for her to be evaluated by her doctor.
She may need imaging as well as blood tests to rule out an infection.
