What Is The Cause Of Bloody Stool And Stomach Pain?
I have had stomach pain for two day now last two times I went to the bathroom my stool was mucusie and a lot of blood went to the er yesterday my stool wasn't like that but still had diarrhea and stomach pain got home now the stool is.bloody but they took blood work yesterday came back normal could something still be wrong
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history of stomach pains with blood and mucus in stool, went to ER. blood work normal but still there is diarrhea and stomach pains, there is blood in stool. This indicates that you have either stomach flu or bacterial intestinal infection. I would advise you the following in such a situation: Get the stool test done. Also get started with an antibiotic, metronidazole and probiotics. Plenty of oral fluids and electrolyte solution to have proper balance of electrolytes. If there is dehydration you may need few pints of intra-venous fluids and antibiotics.
