What Is The Cause Of Blood In Stools?

I noticed when my daughter pooped, if I leave the stool in the toilet bowl the water around the stool turned red, like blood seeping out from the stool. Is it normal? Because when I tested by leaving my stool in the bowl for a while, the similar redness around the stool appears. Please help

hi,
the redness appearing around stool may be blood or related to the food you both are taking. i assume that there is no complaint of pain while passing motion. there is simple test [stool for occult blood] available to check whether it is blood or just coloration due to diet. if blood is present, a pediatrician consult will be required.
