Hi,

The possible causes of your problem are:
-Pelvic inflammatory disease, adhesions due to previous surgery, ectopic pregnancy, etc.
-Gastrointestinal causes like appendicitis, indigestion, irritable bowel syndrome, etc.
-Renal causes like calculi, infection, etc.

As the pain is severe, better to get examined. By clinical examination and ultrasound, the possible cause of the problem can be identified and treatment can be taken accordingly. Analgesic drugs can help in relieving the pain to some extent till the exact diagnosis is made.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sree Gouri S. R., OBGYN
