What Is The Cause Of A Swollen Leg?

Hey my name is katherine, last night i got in a car wreck, nosedived into a huge ditch, this morning i realized there is a spot on my left calf that is bruised and swollen, i think it may be a knot but im not sure, how can i find out what it is without going to get it checked out?

hi,
you seem to have a soft tissue injury.
u should
1. apply ice packs over affected part 5-6 times a day
2. take anti inflammatory medicine like diclofenac or ibuprofen
3. give rest to the affected part.
4. your pain and swelling should start decreasing in 2 days time. if it doesn't u should get an xray done to rule out possibilitynof any fracture
