What Is The Cause Of A Red Dot In The White Part Of The Eye?
Hi I have had a red dot on the white part of my left eye (to the left side) Its very very slightly raised. I have this for close on 4/5 weeks now - can you advise me as to what it could be and best action to take. I did have lazer eye surgy over 3 yr ago and my sight is perfect. I had no complications after the surgry but just though Is mention it - thanks your for your advice in advance

This indicates a subconjunctival hemorrhage. It is because of minor injury or because of rubbing of the eyes.
Subconjunctival hemorrhage is self limiting and it will go away in 6-8 weeks.
No treatment is required as it is self limiting.
