What Is The Cause For The Blood On The Toilet Seat When On Tecfedera?

MY husband is on tecfedera now for 4 weeks. After 3 weeks he developed diarrhea for 2 days. I noticed blood because of his MS he did not make it to the bathroom on time. We discovered later that this could have been a virus. He has not been the same with minor stomach issues. I noticed blood again on the toilet seat. Can the tecfedera be causing some sort of internal issues that could be causing the bleeding.

Hi. This is just possible due to the medicine he has started on. Please go for complete blood picture immediately including bleeding and clotting time. Your Doctor will advise you whether to continue or change over to another medicine.
