What Is The Cause For Slight Swelling On Feet Which Is Sensitive ?
My almost 3 year old grandson was in car seat this afternoon. He made a face like his leg was hurting all of a sudden and started crying. I pulled over and looked at his leg where his sock was covering it. And was very sensitive to touch what looks like something bit him. it swollen to the size of a marble and it looks pink. Any idea what could have bitten him. Should i take him to the ER.

hii.welcome to healthcare magic.your son is having insect bite dermatitis.my opinion is that,
1.dont scratch or squeeze the lesion.
2.maintain good hygiene.
3.apply antibiotic ointment like fusiderm ointment twice daily on the area for 7 days.
4.kindly give her paracetomol syrup if he has pain.
