What Is The Cause For Purple Spots On The Lower Section Of Both The Eyelids?
purple spots(looks like a bruise) on the lower section of both eyelids in the same location and same size and shape, about the size of a field pea ,not painful and no apparent cause. came up suddenly and lasted about a month , went away for a time and has suddendly reappeared. what could be the cause?
Hello It seems from the history that you are having purple spots on both the eyelids. This indicates ecchymosis of eyelids as a result of collection of blood in the layers of skin of the eyelids. The commonest cause is injury but it can occur spontaneously in cases of uncontrolled hypertension, bleeding and clotting disorders... Hence I advice you to undergo evaluation in this regard as injury does not seem to be the cause in you.
Thank you
