Your child is in transition phase from meconium to yellowish brown stools at present. Since the gut is getting colonised by healthy bacteria from environment, this pattern is normal for a newborn. Approach your doctor, if: - Baby lethargic and not feeding well - watery stools, not improving in next 2 days - associated with fever, decreased urine output or any other symptom. At present, continue breastfeeding with proper burping. Give feeds completely from 1 breast before changing the side so that baby gets both fore milk and hind milk.
