What Is The Cause For Higher Levels In Widal Test Though There Is No Fever?
my son 11 years old got typhoid fever. after the cefotaxim 500 mg 10 days temperature came to normal but still widal test 1;360, 1;40,1;140, 1;140. when it will be coming normal. now no temperature, appetite is good, no stomach ache. and going school.

Widal test is obsolete and not reliable so get some more specific ones for typhoid species finding and diagnosis, get to an infectious disease specialist and they will help you with the better management. The era of widal is gone.
