Hello! Thank you for your question on HCM! I read your question carefully and understand your concern. Your symptoms don t seem to be related to any cardiac causes. As you refer, all your cardiac tests have resulted normal, which is a reassuring fact. A dyspeptic disorder or a food allergy could cause this symptomatology, causing burping, runny nose and an increase in the abdominal pressure, leading to high blood pressure (it is a compensatory mechanism of the body). From the other side anxiety could also mimic this clinical scenario. Another rare disorder, I would mention is an autonomic dysfunction, but this would be associated to other symptoms too ( like orthostatic hypotension, diarrhea, etc). I recommend consulting with your GP for a careful physical examination. A fibrogastroscopy may be necessary to exclude a possible gastric ulcer. Allergy testing may be also necessary.
