Hello!
Thank you for your question on HCM!
I read your question carefully and understand your concern.
Your symptoms don't seem to be related to any cardiac causes. As you refer, all your cardiac tests have resulted normal, which is a reassuring fact.
A dyspeptic disorder or a
food allergy could cause this symptomatology, causing burping, runny nose and an increase in the abdominal pressure, leading to
high blood pressure (it is a compensatory mechanism of the body).
From the other side
anxiety could also mimic this clinical scenario.
Another rare disorder, I would mention is an autonomic dysfunction, but this would be associated to other symptoms too ( like
orthostatic hypotension,
diarrhea, etc).
I recommend consulting with your GP for a careful physical examination. A fibrogastroscopy may be necessary to exclude a possible gastric ulcer. Allergy testing may be also necessary.
Hope to have been of help!
Greetings! Dr. Iliri
